The Epouvante line was designed to bring a touch of originality to seasonal hairstyles. Clips and barrettes feature deep shades of black and orange, reminiscent of the contrasts of autumn nights and the glow of carved pumpkins. Each piece features an iconic creature, from grimacing ghosts to mischievous monsters. As all Alexandre de Paris’s hair jaw clips, Epouvante is very comfortable to use: its spring is all at once soft for an easy opening and strong for a reliable holding, not to mention that it is completely invisible.
The Epouvante hair jaw clip is thoroughly handmade in France in our workshop, from acetate, a material with a natural heirloom, born from cotton flower and wooden pulp hair friendly at heart.

How to maintain your acetate hair accessories?
To preserve the shine of your acetate hair accessory, avoid contact with makeup, creams, lacquers / sprays and perfume.
Never expose your accessories to chlorine and salt water.
To maintain your accessory and restore its shine, you can use a drop of liquid soap with a microfiber cloth and rub it delicately, while taking care to dry it.

Warranty
Our hair accessories are handcrafted in France in our workshops. It is our pride and joy that our clients shall enjoy them every day during many years. We are thus always willing to try and fix the little accidents that might occur to them.
This is why during one year from the date of purchase, following events shall be complementary covered, upon proof of purchase:
- loss of a crystal or a pearl
- unsticking of a part of a product
- loss or break of the spring or the metal fastening

From the date of receipt of your complete order, you have 14 days to return a product. You can hence take your time to try it with your favorite outfits.
